The information, understanding and strategies Aoife wishes she had when she was a teacher.

Enroll Today

A practical, evidence‑informed EPV Summer Course for Primary and Post‑Primary teachers who want to understand ADHD through a nervous‑system, sensory, and executive‑function lens.

Teaching students with ADHD can feel over-whelming, but it doesn't have to.

From my own teaching experience and what I hear other teachers find challenging:

  • Lack of specialised training
  • Constant dysregulation and classroom disruption

  • Students who struggle with focus and attention

  • Emotional outbursts, shutdowns, or refusal

  • Balancing the needs of 30+ students

  • Feeling underprepared to support neurodivergent learners

Feel Equipped and Empowered

This course helps you understand what’s actually happening in the ADHD / neurodivergent brain and body. It gives you practical, compassionate tools to support regulation, engagement, connection and learning.

What You Will Learn

  •  Clear, simple ways to understand what lies beneath the label, ADHD, through both a neuroscience and nervous system lens.

  • Practical tools that help with focus, transitions, and big feelings.

  •  Support transitions, attention, and task initiation in ways that work for the ADHD brain.

  • A shared language that you can teach your students, creating a more collaborative and empathetic environment for all.

  • Strategies that support every student in the room and in turn you the teacher too.

Although this course focuses on ADHD, the strategies you learn will benefit every student in your classroom. They will make your teaching day easier, calmer, and more connected too. Neuroaffirming, regulation‑first approaches improve learning, behaviour, and wellbeing across the whole class.

Aoife Hughes

Aoife is a late‑diagnosed AuDHDer, former teacher and now an ADHD coach (PCAC, ACC) who specialises in translating neuroscience into practical, compassionate strategies for teachers and families.

She was a teacher for almost 20 years, working in SEN for the latter part of her career. It wasn't until she completed her training in ADHD coaching that she sadly realised that she did not have the adequate training, understanding or the skills to support her past ADHD  / Neurodivergent students . Her goal with this course is to break this cycle for  both students, teachers and the whole school community.

"Excellent presentation. Aoife should be lecturing in universities to trainee teachers"

"You get much more when a ND person talks about ND. Thank you Aoife."

"As a teacher with AuDHD, I felt so seen and learned so much. I healed a few wounds and I felt like I was wrapped in a warm blanket."
